Zenith Bank Plc said it now has a robust technology infrastructure in the industry following the completion of its IT migration.
The Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Zenith Bank, Dr Adaora Umeoji, disclosed this in a message to the bank’s customers which was seen by The PUNCH on Wednesday.
Zenith Bank commenced its migration process in early October and indicated that services were restored after one week. However, customers continued to face challenges with doing basic transactions.
Umeoji said, “While I deeply regret the inconveniences and challenges you had to endure during and immediately after our migration, I am however pleased to inform you that Zenith Bank Plc now has the best technology infrastructure in the industry and is positioned to ensure you only experience superior service delivery going forward.
“Be assured that you are our main priority and Zenith Bank will continue to innovate value-adding products and services to attend to all your banking needs quickly, safely and conveniently.”
Adaora also expressed gratitude to customers for their patience during the migration, saying, “I would like to thank you on behalf of the Board, Management, and Staff of Zenith Bank Plc for the patience and support you gave us during our IT infrastructure migration to a new and more robust operating system.
“We are indeed very grateful for the trust and confidence you have in us. The sole reason we undertook such an extensive endeavour is to better position Zenith Bank Plc for improved service delivery to all our valued customers and provide memorable banking experiences at all our touch points.”
