News- Senate Sets up Committee Over Herdsmen Killings

 

The Nigerian Senate has set up an ad-hoc committee to investigate killings in some parts of the country by herders.
The committee which is to organize a public hearing on the killings is chaired by Senate Leader Ali Ndume (APC, Borno South). Other members are:

1. 
   Sen. Shehu Sani,
   Sen. Abdullahi Adamu,
   Sen. Ben Murray-Bruce,
   Sen. Isiaka Adeleke
   Sen. Mao Ohuabunwa.
   
   The senate also summoned security chiefs to appear before it over the activities of the herders.
