West African Leaders meet Gambia’s Jammeh

A team of ECOWAS leaders, including President Muhammadu Buhari, met Gambia’s leader, Yayha Jammeh, on Tuesday in Banjul, the country’s capital.
The team, which seeks to persuade Mr. Jammeh to surrender power, was led by Liberia’s President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf.
The president of Ghana, John Mahama, also made the trip.
