Forgery Trial: Saraki and Ekweremadu Arrive Court

Nigeria’s Senate President, his Deputy, are in court to face trial on alleged criminal conspiracy and forgery of the Senate Standing Rules, 2015.

Senate Saraki is being arraigned along with his deputy, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, former Clerk of the National Assembly, Mr Salisu Maikasuwa and his deputy, Mr Benedict Efeturi.



According to reports, Policemen attached to Senate president, Bukola Saraki attacked photojournalists, bar them from entering the courtroom to cover his trial for forgery
