Iwobi who arrived Sunday afternoon is the first to arrive among the 20 foreign-based players invited by interim Super Eagles coach, Samson Siasia, for the crucial double-header against the Pharaohs of Egypt.
Iwobi, who has been enjoying a good run of form of late, was in action for the Gunners on Saturday in the game against Everton. He scored against the Toffees and also gave a good account of himself in Champions League clash against Barcelona at the Nou Camp.
As announced by the Nigeria Football Federation through their official twitter handle, two other players based in Turkey are also expected to breeze into the Super Eagles camp later tonight.
The 2017 Africa Cup of Nations Day 3 qualifying match between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and the Pharaohs of Egypt will take place on at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna on Friday, March 25.
Egypt lead in Group G of the AFCON qualifiers with six points from two games while the Eagles have four points from as many matches. Other members of the group are Chad and Tanzania. Only the group leaders will get automatic qualification for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations to be hosted by Gabon.
Apart from being two points behind the Egyptians on the Group G table, the Eagles also lag behind the Pharaohs on goals scored.
