A mother is trouble for allegedly burning her nephew's hands for stealing.

A case of a gruesome child abuse has been reported after a Lagos State based woman brutalized her young cousin by burning his hands for allegedly stealing her money.

According to the person who posted the gory photo on social media, the woman, herself a mother, has the habit of beating the boy who is her sister's son, mercilessly over every little infraction but she took it overboard in her bid to deter him from stealing.

After beating him, she decided to go a step further by burning his hands, all in a bid to make stealing detestable to him.

But has she not taken the discipline too far?
